Your Similan Islands adventure begins with pickup from your hotel in Phuket or Khao Lak and a transfer to the departure pier. After breakfast, check-in and a short trip briefing, board the speedboat for the journey across the Andaman Sea to one of Southeast Asia’s most spectacular protected island destinations.
Step ashore on both Island No. Four and Island No. Eight, with time to enjoy picture-postcard beaches, swim in clear tropical water and climb to the famous Sailing Rock viewpoint.
Between the island visits, enjoy two guided snorkelling stops above colourful coral reefs, surrounded by tropical marine life in this remote island group.

When is the Similan Islands day trip available?
The Similan Islands day-trip season opens every year on 15 October and closes every year on 15 May. The islands are closed to day-trip visitors from 16 May to 14 October. Individual trips remain subject to national park instructions, weather, sea conditions and availability.
Are hotel transfers included?
Yes. Hotel transfers are included from all Phuket hotels. Send us your full hotel name so we can confirm your collection time.
What ages qualify for the child price?
The child price applies to children aged 4–11. Children under four are free, subject to age and suitability confirmation.
Is the itinerary guaranteed?
No. Stops and timings can change with weather, tides, sea conditions, national park instructions and operational requirements.

Is the Similan Islands day trip suitable for everyone?
- Follow the guides’ instructions and wear a life jacket whenever requested.
- Tell us before booking if anybody is not a confident swimmer.
- Tell us about pregnancy, recent surgery, back or neck problems, heart conditions or mobility needs before booking.
- The trip is not recommended for infants under one, pregnant guests or guests over 70.
- Speedboat travel can be bumpy, and age or medical limits may apply.
- Suitable personal travel insurance is recommended.
Can non-swimmers join?
Non-swimmers may be able to enjoy the boat and island stops, but water participation depends on conditions and the guide’s safety decision. Tell us before booking.
How do I make a booking?
Send us your preferred travel date, the number of adults and children, your full hotel name and a WhatsApp number with country code. We will confirm the total price and the correct payment step.
- More than 7 days before travel: pay a 20% deposit to secure the reservation. The remaining 80% balance is due exactly 7 days before the trip and can be paid earlier if you prefer.
- 7 days or fewer before travel: full payment is required when booking.
- Short-notice bookings: we confirm current availability before issuing the secure payment link.
Payment is made in Thai baht through a secure card-payment link. After the required payment is received, we need every traveller’s full passport name, nationality, date of birth and passport number, plus your hotel details. Passport images may be requested so the information can be checked accurately.
Your booking is complete once the reservation has been confirmed. We then send your confirmed hotel pickup time and final trip details.
What are the cancellation terms?
We understand that sometimes things come up and you may need to cancel your day trip booking. We will do our best to accommodate your request and move your booking to a different date if possible. However, if this is not possible, we will issue you a refund according to the following policy:
- For cancellations made more than 2 days in advance of your trip date, you will receive a full refund minus a 500 THB per person administrative and bank charge fee.
- For cancellations made within 2 days of your trip date, no refund will be issued.

How do I get from Khao Sok to the Similan Islands?
The easiest way to get from Khao Sok to the Similan Islands is to arrange a minivan from your Khao Sok hotel to the Similan Islands departure pier, then join the day-trip speedboat. The transfer costs 2,000 THB per van, each way and the van can carry up to 10 people.
The transfer must be arranged in advance. Please send us your tour date, Khao Sok hotel details and number of passengers so we can confirm availability. Transfer rates may change if the transport provider updates its prices.
