Your Journey to Similan Islands
From your hotel in Phuket or Khao Lak, travel to Thap Lamu Pier for the speedboat transfer to your dive boat. Journey times are approximate and vary with your hotel, pickup route and sea conditions.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I check availability?
Message us on WhatsApp or use our Contact us page. Tell us your preferred departure date, number of guests, and each diver’s certification and recent diving experience.
We’ll let you know if there’s space on your preferred departure date.
How do I book and pay?
Once we confirm availability, we will send you a secure payment request.
- More than 30 days before departure: pay a 50% deposit to secure your booking. The remaining 50% is due 30 days before departure. You are welcome to pay in full earlier.
- 30 days or fewer before departure: full payment is required when booking.
We will send your written booking confirmation once your place has been secured and the required payment has been received.
Please pay your balance by the deadline shown on your invoice. If it is not paid on time, your reservation may be cancelled and the cancellation policy below will apply.
Special Dietary Requirements?
Vegetarian, Vegan, Halal or Gluten Free, please inform us when booking if you require one of these options.
While we may not be able to accommodate every requirement please let us know in advance and we’ll make every effort to ensure there is food available for you.
In addition, we can help you store your own food on the boat if required.
I have my own scuba equipment is there a discount?
If you bring your own full set of scuba gear, the trip price is reduced by ฿500.
Do you have DIN adapters?
Please tell us when booking if you need a DIN adaptor so we can confirm availability. DIN adaptors cost ฿100 per day.
Can i have a Private Divemaster?
Yes. A private dive guide costs ฿2,500 per day and can be shared by a group of up to four divers.
What happens if I cancel?
Please contact us as soon as your plans change. We will try to move your trip to another available date. Date changes depend on availability and do not restart the original cancellation period.
Send your cancellation by WhatsApp or through our Booking Support form. The date we receive your message determines which cancellation period applies.
- More than 20 days before departure: you receive a refund of what you have paid, minus one ฿2,500 fee per reservation. This fee covers booking administration, cancellation handling and payment charges. It applies once to the whole reservation, regardless of how many people are booked.
- 20–11 days before departure: you receive a 60% refund of the total booking.
- 10–8 days before departure: you receive a 40% refund of the total booking.
- Seven days or fewer before departure, or no-show: no refund is due.
The 60% and 40% refunds apply to bookings paid in full. Any unpaid balance will be deducted from the refund.
These periods are measured before your scheduled departure date. Refunds cannot exceed the amount you have paid. Your legal rights are not affected.
What if Visit Similan Islands cancels my trip?
If we have to cancel your trip, we will offer another available date where possible. If that does not work for you, we will refund everything you have paid to Visit Similan Islands for this booking, including your deposit. No cancellation or administration fee will be deducted.
